' message after Colorado's blowout loss at Oregon: 'You better get me right now' Says Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders had a clear message for his Colorado Buffaloes football team after their blowout loss to the Oregon Ducks on September 23, 2023: "You better get me right now."

The Buffaloes lost to the Ducks 42-6, their worst loss since 2017. Sanders was visibly frustrated after the game, and he didn't hold back in his postgame press conference.

"This is the worst we're gonna be," Sanders said. "You better get me right now."

Sanders said that he was disappointed in his team's effort and execution. He also said that he was looking for more leadership from his players.

"I need some grown men on this team," Sanders said. "I need some guys who are going to step up and lead."

Sanders said that he is confident that his team can improve, but he warned them that they need to get better quickly.

"We have a lot of work to do," Sanders said. "But I believe in this team. We're going to get it right."

The Buffaloes are now 3-1 on the season, but they face a tough test next week when they host No. 5 Southern California. It will be interesting to see how the Buffaloes respond to their loss to Oregon and whether Sanders' message will get through to them.

Here are some possible interpretations of Sanders' message:

  • He is warning his players that they need to improve quickly or they will lose his support.

  • He is trying to motivate his players by challenging them to be the best they can be.

  • He is trying to build a sense of urgency and accountability within the team.

Only time will tell whether Sanders' message will have the desired effect. However, one thing is for sure: the Buffaloes need to improve if they want to compete in the Pac-12 this season.
